Situated strategically in Birdwood, the new Ambulance Station will serve as a crucial hub, improving emergency medical services for both the local community and neighbouring regions. The design of the station prioritizes functionality and accessibility while incorporating contemporary architectural elements.
The state-of-the-art facility is well prepared to handle emergencies, accommodating 50 volunteer staff and three ambulances in addition to administrative offices, training rooms and rest areas. It features colorbond metal cladding and feature stone walling, adding a contemporary touch.
Despite delays due to challenging weather conditions during construction, Partek completed the project well ahead of schedule.
