Since commencing work with Partek, it's obvious why the company has endured on-going success onto its 31st year. Starting out as a University Undergraduate, I have been given the structured guidance, necessary training and full support of senior management, allowing me to progress to a Project Manager in a short period of time. The ‘open door’ attitude adopted throughout the company allows all personnel to maximise the wealth of knowledge and expertise of those around you, ensuring a positive outcome for all stakeholders time and time again. An energetic, vibrant and professional workplace makes Partek an exciting culture to be apart of now, and moving forward.
Partek Construction and Interiors is a well-known and respected builder with great core values and reputation. I was first employed at Partek in 2005 as a Project Administrator and soon became Project Manager. When the opportunity to become a shareholder in the business and to also take on the role as Projects Director, I was more than happy to accept this great responsibility and to be part of this well-structured company and further my skills and knowledge.
I have been with Partek since 2006, being initially employed as a receptionist. I was then given the opportunity to move into the Office Administrator role in 2008, where I found my passion in quality, safety and environmental management. Partek provided me with numerous opportunities for further education to enable me to reach my role now, as QHSE Officer. When I chose to start a family, Partek were not only thrilled for me, but also provided me with the necessary flexibility and support to be able to become a working parent. I am able to successfully manage my role within Partek as well as being a mother to my two boys, because of the culture and positive environment at Partek Construction & Interiors.
Partek Construction and Interiors has provided me with an opportunity to build and develop my skills through different roles. I first started out as an apprentice back in 2005 (through the Master Builders) and in 2009 Partek employed me as a carpenter, then onto leading hand/site officer in 2011 and currently I am a full time Site Manager. The crucial experience I have gained through my various roles has allowed me to develop professionally in a caring and understanding work environment.
