Crocmedia Fitout

Studio Lumo, SEN SA 1629

Partek were engaged by Crocmedia to undertake the fitout works for their new state of the art Sen SA 1629 Studio Lumo.

Located in the heart of Adelaide at 1 King William St, the fitout allows South Australia’s passionate sports fan the opportunity to view the content live in action through a large glazed external façade.

The fitout is comprised of studio and production booths, with further flexible workspaces which can be opened and utilised for entertainment.

The new studio and production booths are constructed to be sound proof. Although not a large space, the complexity of construction with double skin walls, segregation of services and penetrations and sound proof linings, made this component quiet complex. To overcome the challenges, Partek held coordination meetings amongst all trades, and had regular correspondence with the client and client’s subcontractors from interstate to ensure all requirements were fulfilled.

The remainder of the fitout was complemented with a high degree of finishes throughout the floor coverings, joinery, tiling and wall finishes. With restricted access and multiple out of hours permits required for façade works, the fitout required the careful planning, due diligence and patience amongst the Partek Project Team and subcontractors to ensure a timely delivery.
