St Catherine’s school is situated in the heart of Stirling and accommodates a large portion of the children in the surrounding community. St Catherine’s selected Partek to undertake it’s New Library & Classroom facility under the BER scheme.
Partek were given the arduous task of constructing a new library on a challenging sloping site which is not uncommon to the Stirling region. The sloping site and difficulty in access required regular careful planning & coordination with its contractors and the school.
The construction of the new Library incorporated several different types of cladding materials which required careful attention to detail with minimal tolerance for error. Internal finishes were quite diverse & extensive which required the engagement of experienced and reputable contractors to ensure the best possible finish.
The school had also endured years of pain with its ongoing stormwater issues and roof leaks which Partek engaged quality contractors to ensure these issues were addressed in the most diligent and professional fashion in conjunction with the engineering team.
In working with the design team Partek were able to deliver a product the school are very proud to call their own.
