The construction was hampered by heavy rain and high winds during the winter of 2016 which caused significant logistical problems for Partek to achieve our imposed deadline to be open by the start of term 1, 2017. Despite these set-backs both Partek and their sub-contractors did everything necessary to ensure timelines were kept to and did indeed have us in the building on the day required. All involved in the construction project from Partek’s side should be commended for their level of professional ability and knowledge and we would have no hesitation in considering Partek for future capital projects at the College.
Their work and guidance delivered a top class outcome making the transition from our previous location to this new facility very easy for our staff and customers. The process of relocation is never easy with numerous technical, human and commercial constraints to resolve to ensure a successful outcome. Leveraging Partek’s wealth of experience and professionalism made a big difference to our successful relocation. The support provided delivered the desired outcome in the time and the budget allocated. From start to finish, Partek made the office relocation very easy, their friendly and proactive approach whilst keeping their subcontractors to time and task was impressive, both organisations ended up with highly successful outcomes.
Our association with Partek throughout the building process has been professional, proficient and collaborative from commencement to completion. The manner in which Parteks Site Manager managed this project and the co-operation between architect and myself cannot be praised highly enough, with the outcome meeting all expectations of a high quality build.
This was a challenging project on many levels and Parteks’ team committed themselves most admirably as well as delivering a quality product on time and on budget. Throughout the project the team was a joy to work with, indeed we felt that we were all on the same side in bringing our client a splendid result. I cannot commend highly enough the team who was extremely proactive in resolving challenges on site. Attention to detail has been exceptional and our client has also been provided excellent value for money.
The attention to detail and the flexibility across the project was evident as no challenge along the way was too difficult to overcome. Overall the final product was first class, the project was completed on time and on budget.
Last Saturday, 9th November 2013, Flagstaff Hill Golf Club was awarded the Clubs SA Awards of Excellence for MOST IMPROVED GOLF CLUB. This award, against 7 other nominees is a very fitting reward for the ground work and research done by the Board of Management, the workmanship of the chosen builders, Partek, and just some small compensation for the inconvenience to all members and guests. The judges comments were: “The improvements made at this club are substantial, and impressive, and speak for themselves. This is a club that continues to improve and strives for excellence in an incredibly competitive market. WELL DONE.
Thank you all for the hard work and effort getting Building 70 and 71 ready for occupancy 10 days ahead of schedule. With good coordination, planning and communications we have delivered a very good facility with the security accreditation required, ensuring business continuity was maintained, with minimal down time. All worked extremely hard with all subcontractors, consultants, our Riverview Board & staff, delivering a very high quality outcome for all concerned. As the Rest Home was fully functional at all times, we appreciated the fact that Partek worked around our residents and staff ensuring there was minimal inconvenience for all concerned. As all construction work was being done simultaneously, it was a huge task, and we are very happy with the result, especially that the project was completed well before the expected time, and under budget.
Our Builder, Partek should be highly commended for delivering a well-built facility with-in budget constraints. Partek have worked with the school team to provide these buildings in the most economical and professional manner and are a pleasure to work with. Nothing was too hard or could not be done.
The final product has in many instances exceeded our own expectations.
