Cadet Program

Partek – Undergraduate Position(s) Our Building Cadet Program will select 1 – 2 suitable high performing Undergraduates from the University of South Australia’s Construction Management & Economics Degree who have successfully completed all 2nd year subjects to join us in early 2019. The successful candidate(s) will undertake a 16 week paid placement which often leads to further employment opportunities at Partek. A personal development plan will be tailored to ensure you take the necessary steps to progress your construction career. This plan will include a mix of on-the-job, internal and external training. The program will provide the selected individual(s) with in-depth experiences and challenges within the following key business units to complement their tertiary studies:

  • Contract Administration & Project Management
  • Site Management
  • Estimating & Tendering

    Partek Construction and Interiors has provided me with an opportunity to build and develop my skills through different roles. I first started out as an apprentice back in 2005 (through the Master Builders) and in 2009 Partek employed me as a carpenter, then onto leading hand/site officer in 2011 and currently I am a full time Site Manager. The crucial experience I have gained through my various roles has allowed me to develop professionally in a caring and understanding work environment.
