Redarc Electronics have engaged Partek to extend their existing Lonsdale premises. The works include multiple extensions to all elevations of the existing building, several refurbishments within the existing building and a new staff and customer carpark on the neighbouring block they recently acquired. All of this work will be undertaken while Redarc remains fully operational.

On the back of successfully completing previous projects at Seymour College, Partek have recently commenced construction of a new Learning & Innovation Centre.

The project comprises of a high end fit-out, full façade upgrade and two new balconies. The project has a tight construction programme and is currently on track to be competed prior to the start of the first term in 2018.

Partek have recently commenced the construction of the new head office for the Corporate Health Group which will be located at 103 Henley Beach Road, Mile End.

The new building comprises of a basement carpark and a further 2 storeys which will contain multiple reception and waiting areas, consult and treatment rooms and wet areas along with the administration headquarters which includes training rooms, executive offices, boardroom, case conference rooms etc. It will also include a hydrotherapy pool and rehabilitation gym located on the ground level.

A vast array of materials & finishes will be utilised throughout the build in particular the external facades which will feature Alucobond, perforated aluminium screening, rendered panelling, precast walls, stone veneer and extensive amounts of glazing.

Partek have recently commenced construction of the Northpoint Toyota vehicle dealership & showroom on Main North Road, Prospect. The project involves the demolition of the existing buildings & carparking and the construction of a new 2 story showroom and office building with associated staging area, service drop-off, carparking and external display area.

The new dealership incorporates a double height vehicle showroom at the front of the building with offices & amenities housing the sales & services teams on the ground floor & mezzanine level. The building is to be clad with a full height glass façade facing Main North Road and aluminium louvres spanning the South-East elevation as well as Alucobond cladding and precast wall panels to the remaining of the exterior. The large undercover service drop off area will feature a perforated corrugated ceiling lining and structural steel columns clad in folded Alucobond.

Externally, the high profile corner site (adjacent a local park) will be complimented with new driveways, carparking and external vehicle display with some minor landscaping works.

Partek have recently commenced the redevelopment of the Chiton Rocks Surf Life Saving Club in Hayborough, Victor Harbor. Situated in the sand dunes of Chiton Beach with only the train line separating itself from the surf, the clubhouse upgrade comprises of a new two storey extension as well as refurbishing the interior & exterior of the existing building.

The construction of the new two storey extension will flow on seamlessly from the existing building via the connection of a large new balcony/deck on the first floor overlooking the beach and new courtyard, paving & landscaping on the ground level.

Internally, the new layout will facilitate everything required to operate a successful surf club such as a boat shed, changerooms, first aid, gym & training facilities . The members and general public will also be treated with the addition of a brand new open plan recreation room and dining area upstairs boasting the ‘million dollar’ views along with a new commercial kitchen & bar area.

Partek faces many challenges ahead with this build mainly associated with the upgrade of the existing building where the Surf Life Savers have been patrolling the beach for 60 years, the existing asbestos roof is being replaced with a new roof to connect with the new extension, along with structural remediation works and façade upgrades throughout.

A vast array of materials & finishes will be utilised throughout the build; featuring Alucobond & Modwood cladding on the outside, and recycled timber from the old balcony used in the bar area.

Partek have recently commenced an exciting redevelopment for the The Uniting Church of Australia by refurbishing the Uniting College facility on Sir Donald Bradman Drive, Brooklyn Park.

The project will see all of the College’s theological learning, library and administrative functions and spaces move from their existing location on the site to a mostly unused old school building.

Partek are working with Hodgkison Architects who designed the facility as part of a broader site master plan. The design includes a significant overhaul of the old building, starting with the opening up and clearing out of all spaces over two levels. A contemporary new fit-out will take the place of dated décor, with inter-connected learning spaces, bright new offices, and overlapping student hubs featuring prominently.

In partnership with Edge Architects, Partek has commenced construction of the new Senior Learning Centre and Maintenance Building at Saint Michael’s College (Secondary Campus). The new Maintenance Building will be constructed in the existing student carpark. With a footprint of 440 square metres, this is substantially larger than the existing Maintenance Shed which will be demolished to make way for the new Senior Learning Centre (SLC). The SLC will be a state of the art two-storey building which will include 13 new general learning areas, a lecture theatre, hospitality areas, staff offices, IT classrooms and a café. Adjacent to the existing oval, the facility delivers new changing rooms, carparking and landscaped outdoor gathering and learning spaces.

The facility is modelled on a university hub design which provides flexible leaning spaces that will cater for group and individual learning. The Senior Learning Centre will enable increased capacity at the Secondary Campus, providing additional room for the readiness of Year 7’s joining the campus in 2019.

Partek have recently commenced refurbishing the Adelaide Paediatrics Head Office at Mile End which is really starting to take shape. In close collaboration with the client & to make way for the refurbishment of the Main Building, Partek successfully relocated the Adelaide Paediatrics staff and the associated furniture/equipment by mirroring the existing large paediatric consult rooms and reception into temporary transportable modules and toilets.

To achieve this, Partek worked closely with the client to ensure they could continue their operating onsite whilst satisfying all their operation’s needs. Partek have also mapped out a staging plan with Adelaide Paediatrics to move them back into the main building prior to practical completion of the project. The main building consists of two levels with a new extension on the ground floor to allow for the installation of lift services. The refurbishment will boast a stunning upgrade in building quality consisting of high end building finishes, services and loose furniture & equipment.
