Star of the Sea School is situated in the beachside suburb of Henley Beach. The school has always thrived for better use of its limited land space available. The design of the new 3 level library & classroom facility along with additions & extensions of the Admin / Staff area has allowed expanding its intake of students to this ever popular school.
Partek were required to work closely with the school throughout the project as the classroom & playground area adjacent its new facility was being compromised with the new works being undertaken. Partek were able to implement carefully erected hoardings & fencing to allow safe transitions for its own workers & students & staff of the school.
Through cost savings and careful budgeting in stage 1 between the design team, Partek and the school, construction was not limited to the library & admin area but was complimented with a brand new Playground facility and a new landscaped lawned area & student gardening areas which the school had been striving to accommodate for many years.
The relationship between Partek, the design team & in particular the school were the cornerstone in delivering a most outstanding both practical & aesthetical facility for the school.
