The Brighton Secondary School is renowned for its Arts background and was delighted when it was issued a grant to build a State of the Art Performing Arts Theatre. Partek were the successful builder engaged from a select list of builders vying for the project.
Partek were required to fast track the project in order to meet government funding guidelines which created demanding time lines from commencement
to completion. Partek were required to liaise with the School, local Council, DPTI, Consultants and Theatre Specialist on a regular basis ensuring that all their needs were delivered.
The Construction comprised of a mix of precast concrete and steel framework clad in various types of materials, which required attention to detail to provide a quality finish. The interior required high level acoustic, cooling, heating, lighting and audio visual necessities which are generally required for such a building.
The performing Arts Centre was complimented with an Amphitheatre and landscaped area to the front which created additional functionality for the users.
